Generation 3D Completes 3D Printed Chandelier for Starbucks, Heathrow Terminal 2
In April 2024, Generation 3D proudly unveiled a state-of-the-art 3D-printed chandelier for Starbucks at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 2. This innovative lighting feature serves as the centrepiece of the newly renovated Starbucks location, further enhancing the sleek and modern design that the coffee giant is known for. As Starbucks continues to expand its presence at international travel hubs, this custom chandelier represents a perfect blend of art and technology, showcasing the ability to marry sustainability with stunning aesthetics.
Starbucks, a key player in offering an elevated experience for travellers, has expanded its reach at Heathrow with several outlets, including this fourth store (PAX International). To complement the store's design, Generation 3D employed advanced 3D printing techniques, enabling precision in every aspect of the chandelier's production. This not only resulted in a visually striking piece but also emphasized eco-friendly production methods by reducing waste and ensuring durability.
Generation 3D managed the entire project, from conceptual design to final installation, ensuring that the chandelier fit seamlessly into the store's layout while adhering to the strict requirements of a busy international airport. The chandelier was designed to blend art with functionality, providing a statement piece for Starbucks’ Terminal 2 location. The installation was a collaborative effort, demonstrating our team's expertise in working on high-profile commercial projects across global markets.
This project underscores Generation 3D’s leadership in the commercial interiors sector, having delivered similar large-scale 3D installations for prominent clients across the UK and internationally. As Starbucks continues to grow its global footprint, especially at key locations like Heathrow, Generation 3D looks forward to more exciting collaborations that push the boundaries of design and production.
